Pokémon Go
The world has gone literally crazy with the release of Pokémon Go, a mobile game developed by Niantic. Well, after a few years of keeping a low profile, Pokémon has made a huge comeback. The franchise which is owned by the Nintendo company, which exploded in it’s reputation in the 1990s, is once more taking the world with the by storm— this time via Pokémon Go, its biggest entry into the mobile gaming world, is now available for free download on Android and iOS.
Pokémon Go is basically a free-to-play GPS-based augmented reality mobile game which has been released this month. You need a mobile device and a really good internet connection to play it, as this not your typical ‘sit-at-home’ game and instead requires you to go outside your house, to look for all the different types of Pokémon. Those who are familiar with the Pokémon anime , will know that basically in the game, you take up the role of a Pokémon trainer and your ultimate goal is catch as many Pokémon as you can. The game has been released as a free to play game but the premium version of the game (Pokémon Go Plus) will be a paid version. It has received mixed reviews from the critics but has become the most downloaded app in the United States of America and also has given a huge boost to the stocks of Nintendo.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD & INSTALL
As we have mentioned earlier, Pokémon Go is a mobile based game which has been released this month and is available on for iOS and Android. It is not currently available in all countries but in a few selected countries. It is available in Australasia, United States, parts of Asia and Europe. To download the application, all you have to do is go to your respective application market, (Playstore for Android, iTunes for iOS) search for the Pokémon app and install it. The tricky part comes for those countries where the game has not been released. For people, from such countries they have to download a VPN app and change their proxy to a country where the game has been released. Then they have to download the app in the normal way.
HOW TO PLAY
Like any other modern game, when you first download the app you have to create your own avatar/trainer. You even get to choose your avatar’s clothing from a limited number of options. The game allows you to capture, train and battle virtual Pokémon making use of your GPS and camera of your mobile phone. The game uses your actual location and environment so you will have to explore your neighborhood in search of Pokémons. You will find different types of Pokémon in different areas i.e. water type Pokémon near water bodies. You will need to flick pokéballs at it to catch the Pokémon. Unlike previous versions, you do need to fight the Pokémon to capture but instead strategically throw the pokéball with the right power and direction to capture it.
