Android 7.0, aka Android Nougat is finally here. Almost after two years, the tech giant is coming up with a brand new OS. The beta build was released on March 9, 2016. The stable build was officially release on August 22, 2016. Well Google’s Android division certainly has a sense of humor as it names all its versions after desserts just like Intel names all of its CPUs after rivers. And this time they have named if after a famous dessert of France, Spain and Italy. And with Android 7.0 out, app developers are gearing up for a brand new arena for exploration and exploitation.

What’s New? How it is sweeter than Marshmallow?

You can now    switch between two apps just with a double tap. Split screen works both in portrait and landscape mode, with the two windows only being resizable in  portrait mode.

Which Phones will get Android N?

Some phones still don’t have the marshmallow updates; let alone Android 7.0. It will take some time for the manufacturers. If you want to get your hands on Nougat fast, get a Nexus device. Surprisingly Sony Xperia Z3 would be receiving Nougat developer edition, but sadly it won’t receive the full Nougat upgrade. HTC heads have confirmed that their users will be getting Nougat upgrade. Motorola users will taste this in Moto G4 Plus. Samsung might launch Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy S7 Edge with Nougat upgrade. Nextbit Robin is also planning for the same.
